Challenge
To amplify Walkers UEFA champions league on pack partnership Snap & Share nationally, in terms of reach and participation. Aiming to exceed 80k+ entries.
Execution
Created hero content with TV presenter and Arsenal fan Reggie Yates & long term ambassador Gary Linekar, these were supported by relevant archetypes to recreate home football viewing with a cheeky Walkers spin. Supporting the launch of the competition throughout social media in a humorous tongue and cheek fashion across broad sports minded audiences in the UK, using #WalkersUnited. This content was utilised on multiple platforms, and supported by a bespoke Snapchat filter, influencer content and above the line TV spots to encourage further purchase of the product.
Result
83,000+ entries were recorded across social media over the course of the competition, showing huge groundswell of interest and engagement with the topic, much of this driven by content at various touchpoints collectively generating over 30m+ impressions. Showing a clear love of crisps and football (who knew!)
